Answering the demands of the growing Master Data organization within Solar, we are looking for a Junior Master Data and Global Legal Compliance Specialist who wants to contribute to developing and supporting the global setup and can handle centralized activities with high quality for Solar Group.

Junior Master Data and Global Legal Compliance Specialist reports to the manager of Global Master Data Organisation which is part of the Shared Services Center (SSC) in Łódź and of virtual Global MDO in Solar and therefore cooperates closely with legal compliance stakeholders in Solar as well as SSC in Poland.

What will you be doing you ask?

As Junior Master Data and Global Legal Compliance Specialist you execute on daily basis tasks requested by stakeholders in business within agreed quality and SLA. The tasks are mainly:

• Investigate if requested legal data are already available in Solar’s systems and data bases and if data are valid according to governance rules
• Contact vendors to obtain missing or invalid data
• Follow up with vendors on regular basis in order to obtain SLA
• Escalate to agreed stakeholders, if vendor do not supply you with expected data within the agreed deadlines
• Update received data from vendors in MDM / SAP
• Send requested legal data to requester
• Align expectations and deadlines with legal compliance stakeholder / requester
• Measure on weekly basis the number of different tasks executed and time spend
• Report the workload
• Enter and maintain master data from Solar Group across countries
• Manage direct contact to data owners in order to enter, maintain and obtain missing master data and secure global data rules and regulations.
• Follow up on data quality issues and correct the data as needed
• Secure that potential data conflicts are found and reported
• Be a backup for other team members

• Show interest in Legal Compliance and Master Data
• Build up solid competences in and try to understand what Legal Compliance Data is and why the customers request this
• Have an understanding of legal data eg. global vs. local data and processes
• Are by nature careful, accurate and thoroughly
• Are resistant – also when the vendor do not return with feedback and you need to call once again
• Are in general very “high quality oriented”
• Are respectful, analytic and structured
• Are service minded and proactive towards requesters and stakeholders
• Are able to prioritize and work efficiently
• Are respected and thereby able to maintain active contact with vendors and customers
• Show a high level of flexibility
• Have cross-country understanding and are able to work in a virtual global organisation
• Have the necessary IT skills – preferably in Excel and SAP
• Have high level English skills, both in writing and in speaking
• Hold preferably a Bachelor’s or Master degree, or have a similar educational background which matches the job
