What will you be doing, you ask?
Mostly, your job will be to underpin our work to support the maturing of the group’s business development initiatives. This is why we are looking for student workers with great competences in quantitative and qualitative analysis, including analysis design and data processing. So, you will benefit from being able to document any experience in these fields gained from another student job or competences built during the course of your studies.
Other ongoing tasks will include involvement in consultancy work with elements of business, market and strategic analyses and, for example, preparation of business plans.
- Market data analyses
- Historical data analyses
- Forecast model improvements
- Graphic presentations of various data
- Preparation of business cases and business plans
- Marketing automation assignments
- Communication of various analysis results, making them comprehensible to non-specialists
What we wish to see in you
We expect you to be working on your master’s degree in economics and business administration or similar, in addition to having excellent English and IT skills. As you are working on your master’s degree, we expect you to be updated on the latest theories within innovation and design processes and/or analysis and forecast models and to be able to work with these on your own. In general, you are expected to work independently and structured with your tasks in close cooperation with our finance and market organisations. Often, projects will involve many possibilities of professional discussions with both internal and external collaboration partners.
- Analytical and structured in your approach to issues
- Meticulous and careful – you show attention to details without losing sight of the big picture
- Good at communicating the insights you acquire
- Skilled at IT and an experienced user of Excel and PowerPoint in particular
- Accommodating and service-minded and enjoy working in an open and dynamic environment
In addition, you speak and write Danish and English fluently.
We expect you to work approximately 10-15 hours a week but, naturally, this may vary and be adapted to your studies. Officially, your place of work will be our offices in Brøndby but it will also be possible for you to work at our offices in Aarhus or at group headquarters in Vejen, Denmark. The position is classified as a fixed-term employment and will terminate by the end of 2017 with the possibility of renewal.
